With more than 38 years of professional work expertise, David Scarborough, ASLA carries the lead in landscape architecture experience in East Texas. A Texas Registered Landscape Architect, David is not only good at what he does -- he's passionate about it.

A member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University in 1970. Upon visiting Tyler, David realized the beauty and potential East Texas provided for unique landscape opportunities - utilizing the beautiful piney woods and topography into his designs, David made Tyler his home.

Sustainability is a large part of the design process, and David takes his role as steward of his environment very seriously. Whether it's using the latest in green technology by installing a specialized irrigation system and selecting proper plant location to help in energy consumption, or by utilizing the benefits of native plant selection, David is passionate about caring for and maintaining beautiful East Texas landscapes.

David Scarborough is passionate about providing sustainable, lasting environmental institutional, residential and commercial designs. Established in 1979, David Scarborough Landscape Architecture has provided Texas with more than 38 years of beautifully developed landscapes. A Texas registered landscape architect, David Scarborough (ASLA) merges his personal love of design with his professional skill and years of experience.

Landscape architecture is more than just aesthetics. Combining multiple disciplines such as horticulture, botany and the fine arts, no detail is overlooked. Whether a site requires grading, drainage or ADA accessibility, David understands the practicalities of landscape design and that form must always follow function. As stewards of the environment, the role of landscape architecture is taken very seriously and continuously pushed to achieve the perfect balance for each project. David believes in using only the latest in green technology and sustainable development through the implementation of ecological awareness, resource efficiency, and regenerative design.
